LayTec ranks among Germany’s 50 fastest growing technology companies

At the Deloitte‘s Technology Fast 50 award ceremony in Hamburg on October 21, 2009 LayTec ranked 30th among the 50 fastest growing companies in Germany! Between 2004 and 2008 LayTec increased its turnover by 378% and therefore belongs to the 50 fastest growing companies in Germany and 500 fastest growing companies in Europe.
LayTec develops and manufactures optical in-situ and in-line metrology systems for thin-film processes with particular focus on photovoltaic applications and compound semiconductors. Its know-how is based on optical techniques. LayTec's tools monitor the film thickness of all layers throughout the thin-film PV process as well as other parameters like the conductivity of transparent oxide layers, roughness, texture and others.
